2021 Tree of Remembrance Ornament Decorating

Nov 26, 2021 11:00 AM to Dec 10, 2021 08:00 PM

As we approach the holiday season and our annual holiday memorial service, The Tree of Remembrance, we invite you and your family to come to the funeral home between 11AM and 8PM from Friday, November 26th to Friday, December 10th and place a memorial inscription on an ornament provided by us to hand on the tree.

After our service, where the tree and the ornaments on it are dedicated to the memory of your loved one, you will be able to take your personalized ornament home to hang it on your own tree.

In addition, we will also accept any ornaments that families unable to attend the service, have already decorated to place on the tree as well. We would ask that these ornaments are dropped off no later than Friday, December 10th.

2021 Tree of Remembrance

Dec 11, 2021 05:00 PM to Dec 11, 2021 07:00 PM

As we approach the holiday season, our family and staff understand that the loss of a loved one may seem more difficult. You may feel a renewed sense of grief and a feeling of loss unlike that experienced in daily living. While nothing can take away these feelings, we would like to help you honor your loved one's memory and make your pain a little more manageable.

With those thoughts in mind, Bernadine Zub Martens created a special memorial service program for the holiday season called, "The Tree of Remembrance."

We are happy to announce that we will be holding our annual Tree of Remembrance service in person on Saturday, December 11th at 5PM, where we will have a formal dedication of the tree with a candlelight memorial service to honor those loved ones laid to rest since November of 2019. In addition, for those unable to join us in person, we will also be living streaming the service on the funeral home's Facebook page.

Please Note:As your safety is of our utmost concern, we will require that anyone attending the service this year in person must properly wear a face covering. Those unable to safely wear a face covering, are asked to join us virtually.

Additional information is available by contacting the funeral home at 216-281-7111.
