It’s Okay to Miss Them

Here at Walter Martens and Sons, we all know how our furry, four legged friends are like members of the family. They are our friends, confidants, and companions. They bring us true devotion and unconditional love. Saying goodbye to them can be just as difficult.

Cremation

To provide you and your family a cremation for your pet, our family has partnered with Paws and Remember, a family-owned crematory in Valley View, Ohio.

Rest assure that unlike some crematories, Paws and Remember will treat your pet with kindness and love while they are in their care. Each pet brought to Paws and Remember is cremated individually, meaning that only one pet is cremated at a time.



Packages

Understanding that each family will have different requests regarding the cremation of their pet, we are pleased to offer you the following cremation packages. Pricing for packages is based on your pet’s weight.

Please note, that payment is required in full for ALL pet cremations at the time arrangements are made.

Basic Return Package

Simple in its own right, the Basic Return package is the most popular cremation package we offer. Your pet’s cremated remains are returned to your family in a plain, standard wooden urn.

  • Up to 15 pounds - $105.00
  • Between 16 and 50 pounds - $135.00
  • Between 51 and 75 pounds - $155.00
  • Between 76 and 100 pounds - $180.00
  • From 101 pounds and up - $205.00

The Simplicity Series

Simplicity bestows rewards on all who appreciate it. Your gratitude for the everyday pleasures of life with your pet will shine through with the Simplicity Series. This package offers you a personalized, engraved standard wooden urn. A memorialization item is also included.

  • Up to 15 pounds - $140.00
  • Between 16 and 50 pounds - $170.00
  • Between 51 and 75 pounds - $190.00
  • Between 76 and 100 pounds - $215.00
  • From 101 pounds and up - $237.00

The Friendship Series

Friendship is the greatest gift we can receive. With the Friendship series, you’ll commemorate the warmth of your pet’s devotion. Included is a premier urn, plus a beautiful windchime to always keep your pet in your memory. For your cat or dog, you’ll receive a special engraved photo album that helps you chronicle a life united by friendship.

  • Between 51 and 75 pounds - $255.00
  • Between 76 and 100 pounds - $280.00
  • From 101 pounds and up - $305.00

The Outdoor Series

For your cat or dog, the lasting affection is the true hallmark of the relationship between you and your pet. Paws and Remember helps you pay tribute to this bond with a full series of quality outdoor memorial products. From garden stones and markers to wind chimes, our outdoor memorials help you honor your pet in the setting when many of your happy memories took place. This package includes your choice of one of three urns plus engraved windchimes.

The Summit Series

Celebrating life is always an appropriate way to remember those who have meant so much to us. The Summit series helps you celebrate your pet with memorial products that honor the life you shared. Your Summit package includes your choice of one of two top-quality urns, plus our unique Preserve-A-Memory keepsake photo frame, featuring a cast of your pet’s paw and your favorite photo. For your exotic pet, you can receive a match camel shell frame and urn.

The Legacy Series

For your cat or dog, the Legacy Series from Paws and Remember brings together superior craftsmanship and the finest materials to help you remember your pet in a lasting, meaningful way. Each Legacy package comes with your choice of one of three urns, plus an engraved photo and our unique Preserve-A-Memory keepsake photo frame, featuring a cast of your pet’s paw and your favorite photo.

Keepsake and Memorial Items

Prior to cremation, we can help you in obtaining keepsakes from your pet to treasure. These can include ink paw prints, clay paw prints or locks of fur. In addition, we offer many unique urns and pet jewelry to celebrate your pet’s life and help you tell their story. Please ask our staff for more details.
